- From this common priesthood, the Society affirms that Christ calls and sets apart some to the Ministry of Word and Sacrament.
- The rite of Ordination to the Holy Ministry should be by the laying on of hands by Ministers already ordained.
- The Society supports the requirement for a full academic and pastoral training of candidates for the Holy Ministry, and shares a pastoral interest in their spiritual development.
- The Society has concern for the responsible preparation of those requesting the Ordinances and Sacraments of the Church, and for the comprehensive pastoralc are of all within our parishes.
- The Society recognises the claim upon the Church to share the Gospel, and Christ's concern for the disadvantaged, affirming the inter-relation of worship, belief and daily life.
- The Society encourages a higher spiritual life among all God's people, fosterd by regular attendance at public worship, and aided - where practicable - by open churches, and by daily worship both private and public.
- The Society calls upon its members to promote these aims within the life and worship of the Church.
